GENERAL RULES OF THE SCHOOL

  1. Study is the primary duty of the students.They should take it in due seriousness and cultivate the habit of regular work.
  2. All students should be punctual and bells should be obeyed promptly.
  3. All should be in the school a few minutes before the morning bell. They need not come very early ie. Before 8.45 am and wander around. They should also return home immediately after the classes.
  4. Those who come early should straightway enter the class room ,remain silent and learn their lessons until 9.05 A.M. Class begins every day at 9.05A.M. and end at 3.40 P.M.
  5. At the first bell,silence should pervade the entire campus, and all should silently rush to their classes.
  6. In the classroom all should remain silent and serious.
  7. No one is allowed to go outside the class room during the session except for extreme necessity and with the permission of teachers.
  8. No pupil shall leave the campus during the school hours or recesses without the class teacher's permission.
  9. Those students who leave the school for various reasons should sign in the leave record before they leave the school premises.
  10. All should bring their lunch in lunch box only and should carry a lunch towel also.
  11. Children are not allowed to buy eatables from the vendors inside or outside the campus.
  12. Pupils shall be responsible for the safe custody of their books and other belongings.Their names shall be inscribed on all articles.Money should not be lent or borrowed nor articles exchanged.
  13. The students should not wear gold ornaments in the school.
  14. Running,playing or shouting inside the school building is strictly forbidden.When passing along the corridoors during the class hours.students shall keep silence.
  15. No games are permitted in the morning or recesses and during the noon interval.Cricket game is prohibited on account of the lack of spacious ground and frequent accidents.
  16. Cycles must be kept locked,and in the place provided.Students must not ride within the compound or on the school lawns.
  17. Late comers shall not enter the classrooms without the permission of the principal.
  18. Barring cases of illness and unforeseen emergencies leave of absence should be obtained in advance. Leave should be applied for by the parents or guardian in the form appended at the end,of the school dairy.
  19. No books, periodicals, pictures and electronic gadgets etc. except those allowed by the school shall be brought to the school or circulated without the permission of the principal..
  20. Students should get their progress report cards signed by their parents/guardians and return them to the class teachers within 3 days of receipt after entering the marks in this diary.
  21. Students and parents should not offer any presents or gift to the teachers except with explicit permission from the principal.
  22. In the event of a teacher being absent ,class leader must pass on the information to the staff room within five minutes of the commencement of the period.
  23. Irregular attendance ,habitual laziness ,disobedience ,dishonesty and indecency with force the expulsion of such pupils from the school.
  24. All are expected to speak only in English language in the compound.
  25. The students should be humble and polite in speech and behaviour everywhere.
  26. They should wear the School Uniforms on all prescribed days including examination days.
  27. They should always be clean and keep the entire school and its premises ever tidy.
  28. They should be courteous and respectful towards parents,teachers and elders.
  29. The school organises different kinds of co-curricular activities aimed at the allround development of the personality of the pupils.All should actively and wholeheartedly participate in the programmes and draw maximum advantage.
  30. The students should make good and proper use of the well-equipped school library.They can borrow books on the days fixed,but should return them within the stipulated period of time.They should handle the books carefully .Damage to books or loss thereof will entail due compensation. Library books should not be exchanged among students or outsiders.
  31. The students should treat the school and its property as their own. Any deliberate damage will have to be made good.
  32. The school fee is collected in 4 equal instalments .(June,Sept.,Dec.,Feb.).As far as possible ,all payments should be made on the prescribed days. ie. First week of every term.
  33. There will be three terminal examinations and 3 midterm tests every year.All should take the examinations seriously .Promotion to higher standard is based solely on the performance in the examinations.Perfect order and discipline should be maintained in the examinations.Any malpractice will call for stern disciplinary action.
  34. The decision of the Principal shall be final in all cases.
